A ruined sixteenth century royal palace in Falkland, Fife.  Between 1501 and 1541 Kings James IV and James V transformed the old castle on the site into a beautiful renaissance royal palace.  Falkland became a popular retreat with all the Stewart monarchs. They practiced falconry there and used the vast surrounding forests for hawking and for hunting deer.

Falkland Palace was recently made famous on the TV Series Outlander.

This print would make a perfect gift for residents, visitors to Fife or those who appreciate architecture.

The A5 teal print is pressed onto high quality linen paper and comes in a cellophane wrap. This is manufactured in Scotland.
